So last month my daughter, Zoey, turned 4 :-) I still can't believe it has been 4 years since she has come into our lives and never thought it was possible to love someone as much as I love her.
This year we decided to have her party someplace fun. After lots of research and visiting numerous places, we concluded that Kangaroo Kids in Deer Park was the choice for us. We couldn't have been more happy with the way everything went and I could tell by the looks on all of the children's faces that all had a good time.
The things I liked about Kangaroo Kids was that it was big enough for kids but not too big of a place where you could lose track of where the kids were. They have 3 large bounce houses, one of which is an obstacle course which proved to be very popular with the kids. They also offered several ride on toys, knock hockey, air hockey, and some basketball games as well as a small area with mats for the younger kids. Everything in Kangaroo Kids seemed clean which is a big thing for me, that was actually one of the main reasons we eliminated another place. Another huge plus was that the party was private so we didn't have to deal with dozens of other kids and families running around while we were trying to have a special party for our daughter. They provided us with 3 attendees which helped from beginning to end with everything; where to put our coats and shoes, taking care of the presents, setting up the party room with our own decorations, taking care of the food and cake, keeping an eye on the kids in the play area, to cleaning up at the end. I must say, these 3 people made things so easy for us and made the party go extremely smoothly. All of this was surprisingly affordable when compared to similar places here on Long Island, which helped make the day a good one even for my wallet.
All in all I would definitely recommend Kangaroo Kids for anyone on Long Island looking for a fun place for a party or looking for somewhere that has open play to bring their kids. For more information, visit their website or their Facebook page
